Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DrawLens – AR Sketch & Trace ("DrawLens", "the App", "we") handles information when you use our Android application (package com.drawlens.sketch.trace).

1. Information we process directly

Images and videos you work with

When you choose a picture from your gallery, take a photo, or record a drawing session, the file is processed on your device only. Saved results are written to your device's Pictures/DrawLens or Movies/DrawLens folder. We do not receive these files.

Permissions the App requests

• Camera — to show the live camera view with the sketch overlay (AR tracing) and to take photos of your artwork.
• Microphone — only when you record a video of your drawing session, so the video can include sound. You can deny it and still record without audio.
• Photos / storage (Android 12 and below) — to pick a picture to trace and to save your results. On newer Android versions the system photo picker is used.
• Notifications — optional reminders to come back and draw. You can turn them off in Android Settings.
• Internet and network state — to load ads, consent forms and app configuration, and to show the in-app image search.
• Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — used by our ad and attribution partners as described below.

In-app image search

The "Find ideas online" feature opens a public image search engine (Bing Images by default) inside the App. Your search terms are sent to that search provider and are subject to its privacy policy. We do not store your search history on our servers.

Local preferences

Your language, sound settings, favorites and unlocked drawings are stored locally on your device and removed when you uninstall the App.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, used only to answer you.

2. Third-party SDKs we use

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config and Cloud Messaging, used to understand app usage, fix crashes, configure features and deliver notifications. Data: app instance ID, device model, OS version, language, country, screen views and in-app events, crash stack traces. Privacy
• Google AdMob (Google LLC) — serves the ads that keep the App free, including rewarded ads you may choose to watch to unlock a drawing. Data: Advertising ID, coarse IP-derived location, device information, ad-interaction events. Privacy
• Ad mediation partners used through AdMob: Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Liftoff (Vungle), Pangle, Mintegral, Unity Ads and ironSource. They may receive the Advertising ID, device information and ad-interaction events to serve and measure ads.
• Adjust (Adjust GmbH, an AppLovin company) — install attribution, ad-revenue measurement and fraud prevention. Data: Advertising ID, device information, install time and in-app events. Privacy
• Meta (Facebook) SDK (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — required by Meta Audience Network ads. Not used for login or to access your Facebook profile. Privacy

Your choices regarding these SDKs

• Reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by device).
• Decline or change ad consent at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the App (shown where consent applies).
• Email devapp.aero@gmail.com to ask questions or exercise your rights.

3. What we do not collect

• No SMS, call logs or contacts.
• No precise location.
• No payment card data — the App has no in-app purchases.
• No upload of your photos, drawings or recordings to our servers.
• We do not sell or rent personal data to data brokers.

4. How we use information

• To provide the tracing, lesson and capture features.
• To show ads and measure their performance.
• To understand usage, fix crashes and improve the App.
• To respond to support requests and comply with the law.

5. Sharing

Information is shared only with the providers listed above (Google, ad mediation partners, Adjust, Meta), with infrastructure providers acting on our behalf, and with authorities when required by law.

6. Data retention

• Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months. Firebase Crashlytics: up to 90 days per crash record.
• Adjust: up to 24 months. Meta SDK: per Meta's retention policy (about 2 years).
• AdMob: per Google's advertising data retention.
• Support emails: up to 24 months.
• Local data stays on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to processing and to opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact devapp.aero@gmail.com; we respond within 30 days. Because we do not maintain user accounts, most data is held by the SDK providers and is tied to device identifiers; resetting your Advertising ID breaks this link.

8. Children's privacy

DrawLens is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our SDKs are not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact devapp.aero@gmail.com.

9. International users

Our service providers may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

10. Security

The App relies on Android's app sandbox and scoped storage, and SDK traffic is sent over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page and noted in the App's release notes.
